I just want to take a minute of your time and thank you for your free video instructions. Your personality is a wonderful and refreshing change. I have lots to learn but your instructions are by far the best!!!! I found my problems within the first 5 minutes--I over think the basic shape and complicate the entire painting. I ove your video lessons! I'm trying to paint with pastels at the moment, and enjoyed your section on pastels. I was wondering if maybe you could do a pastels instructional video at some stage? I'd love to see some techniques, esp for painting portraits. Thanks for a great site!

WOW! I am so impressed and excited. I'm conditionally admitted into an art therapy counseling program at our local university. But even after taking 27 hours of art classes, I still have to take 6 more in drawing and 6 more in painting. Appreciate you are unable to respond to individual emails however aged 52 I wish to thank you for the sheer enthusiasm you inspire.Your unasuming manner and love of your subject is infectious. As full time carer for my disabled wife you have motivated this 'old sea-dog',who prior to viewing your site, thought drawing was for those who were born with the gift of drawing. My motivation is the satisfaction and challenge of pencil drawing and watercolour painting. Thankyou for giving me and thousands like me the confidence to pursue art as a hobby. Regards

Hi Bob, I just wanted to thank you for your videos! I am a graphic artist that has been trying to teach herself how to paint with watercolor. I have had limited success and taking watercolor classes through the local college at night has been a waste of time and money. They don't teach! I learned more in an hour of watching your videos with technique on how you use your brushes than I have with anyone else in months. So thank you, thank you. I hope you keep up the awesome work.
