Again another experiment into concept pastel artwork, it was all done freehand and nothing was measured so if the scale is out i apologise for that, Done in dry pastel i was trying to capture light into the bottle to try to reproduce the different colours within the glass as the light hits it from top right. thanks. all comments welcome.


size is A4 , white sketch paper used nothing special a cheap pad.

Hi George:
Nice colour combination. I might have added slightly stronger hi-lites to the bottle on the left, and moved the blue area down a little (or up) so that it doesn't line up with the label.
Just my thought.

try to be bolder with your darks and the lights will show more of a contrast

I agree with other comments regarding the lack of contrast. I think that the background wall could be darker or mottled more to contrast with the bottle. However, I think you achieved what you were after.
