Oil on canvas. The approximate size is: 600 x 700 mm. It was an Indian Summer gift. I collected berries of a mountain ash for my parrot, and, certainly, could not be kept from... The bright bouquet has turned out!

Let it heats your and mine souls in the winter evenings! (we have the frosts up to -30 C!)

Berries
by: Dorothy, Carluke

Hello Irina,

I like your painting very much.

Here in Scotland we call the Mountain Ash the Rowan Tree and the saying is that if the berries are heavy on the branches we will have a cold winter.

Heavy berries on the tree means that Mother Nature is giving the birds food for the winter snow and cold.

Regards,

Dorothy
