Where's Daisy?
This is a Chinese Brush Painting of a Proud handsome fella. I enjoyed painting him as he looks as if he is up to no good! The Challenge was to get the Feathers to look good
Chinese Brush Painting is one of the few mediums where you are encouraged to use lots of Black which I love.
It is done on Chinese Rice Paper { No longer made from rice]. 12" by 18" With Black Stick Ink and Red Chinese water Colour
Most Art Tutors tell you never to use Black but mix a dark shade with blue or brown. In English watercolour I like to make a lovely Black with Cad Red & Viridian
If you are new to Painting do not be afraid of making mistakes as you will learn by them. When most Famous
Artists start their work is not that good unless they are exeptionally talented
