That Easter Feeling

I actually got round to using the cheap packet of acrylic paints and a 130mm x180mm stretch canvas frame thingy that I bought a few months ago. This is my first painting (apart from what I did as a child) and I got the idea from a napkin that was on the dining table at my mother in laws 2 days ago.

I first drew the picture using a Faber Castell propeller pencil B 0.5mm and then filled in the outlines using the paints.

I'm very happy with this and it looks a lot better at a distance. I am now looking at doing a sailing scene from an advert that I have on a slightly larger canvas.
