storing brushes

Take an old coffee can with a plastic lid and poke holes in the lid in the shape of little X's. (I used a utility knife). Then poke your brushes End first into the lid and voila! This will hold your brushes separated and keep them brush side up until your next session. I like it because I can see what brush is available as I'm painting. I have different cans for different type of painting too.
