Gower Coast Wales
Painted on Cold press 140lbs. Winsor Newton transparent paints.....wouldn't you know :o)
I studied a painting lesson by Arnold Lowrey...then painted....and painted. This was probably painting number 47....all others discarded.
A sponge was used to wipe out rocks to give the impression a wave was splashing up the rocks. The smaller rocks were painted with a dark and light mixture, and then a razor blade was used to scrape out some colour. It's really neat working with the razor blade. I hope you'll try it.
