SCARBOROUGH HARBOUR, MY 1st EVER PAINTING !

Well this is my very first attempt at painting since I left school some twenty some years ago !

I found an old sepia photo in a book of old Scarborough photographs from yester- year and thought I would have a go at painting it in colour.

It's far from brilliant, but I am very pleased with it. I'm not happy with the sky but that will come with practise !!

I was really happy with the boat, and especially the figures working on it.

I am practicing techiques now to try and develop some basic skills.

I welcome your thoughts and hints !
