Retaining the color strength in your pastel work.

Spray your pastel work "as you go along" in order to "set" the colors in your painting and to minimize the lessening of color strength that seems to occur when you spray your picture only after your work is done. This hint sets a color foundation that is not "lifted" when you spray only after you have finished your painting.
