"Prince William" cadet training ship

Acrylic on paper with frame size 17"x 14". I have been facinated by ships and took a photograph of the last time it visited Glasgow some time ago and am only now getting round to trying a painting if it.

I found the sails and rigging a challenge. I am quite pleased with the sunset effect and might try something similar with a stormy sea.
