Pourquoi (aka Jesse)

Wow.... my very first commissioned piece! I never would have thought I would have people asking me to do portraits of their animals.

Done with mixed medium (primarily with acrylics - small 'touch-ups' using pastels and coloured pencils) on 12 x 20 canvas board. I finished this off with a light spray of matt varnish (for permanent protection).

Brilliant!
by: Balaji

You have done a brilliant job. The skin colour, texture, and sheen, the wetness around the nostrils and the eyes, the undulations on the skin due to the tendons, nerves and blood vessels, and the shine on the metal have all been captured beautifully.
