Great tip, I am just about to swop about a figure that looks in the wrong spot. Now I can get it right with minimal effort, Thanks.

P.S. This would also work with photo packages, import your background image, paint your image on a new layer, then slide it about until it looks right, then merge the two images.

I like this idea and will use it next time I need figures in my paintings especially when you hadn't planned for them at the outset but decided later on . Great Tip!
