Pastel Types

It shows how certain types can be used together and which ones cannot. If you've thought about trying pastels and didn't know which were which, then this video will prove a good place to start.

Look out for the point that Christine makes that you can use pastels as part of mixed media - in other words in conjunction with other paint types in the same picture. This is a very popular way of using pastels and enhancing the range of textures in your paintings.
