My Boy Brian

Painted on canvas board. size 21x26 cm. I was given a very old oil painting of a dog that looked similar to my dog Brian. I just had to have a go and see if I could manage to produce an acceptable painting.

The most challenging part was getting the colour the way I wanted, every part of this painting was an experiment.

I am most pleased with the likness it really is my boy. and other people recognize him too. I also like the expression in his eyes.
