Mammoth Beauty

This is a 5x7 watercolor done on a prepared canvas covered art board with brush and wash techniques.

I have a floral garden display at my home and take a lot of photos of the beauty God shares with us. Sometimes I am fortunate enough to capture an image such the Mammoth Butterfly in this painting, or even birds such as some beautiful Hummingbirds that visit our flowers and feeder from summer through fall. (The Hummer painting is yet to be done, but it is coming soon!)
