Love at First Sight

Acrylic on canvas board, 16' by 20'. My Mom and Dad fell in love at first sight as the story has been told to me many times. They both loved to garden and raise flowers around their garden. My Mom passed away nearly 12 years ago and I painted this painting in 2006. This is my imaginary picture of them falling in love and speding time in their flower garden.

The most challenging part was capturing the image of Mom and Dad and I think I did that well. The most difficult part was not painting their faces, I wanted to but was afraid I would mess up the perfect image of them.
