Keeping Acrylics Moist For Days On Your Palette
by: Vida Evenson

I use a tray lined with wet paper towels (two layers). On top of this I place parchment paper (wax paper) and secure it with tape or sometimes a few clips. This keeps the paint from drying out while painting. If I stop painting for the day I'll place another tray on top of the painting tray and clamp it shut. My paints stay wet and workable for days this way. Sometimes I need to add more water to the paper towels if the weather is very hot and dry. It works great. You can also use aluminum foil instead of wax paper. Whatever feels better to you. Hope this helps :)
