What an awesome tip!!! And, it really works!!!
I am using it now as a way to always keep my pastels clean, and it truly is like magic. I've tried other methods but this one, I really consider it the best. Thank you so much, M. Landi, for posting this great technique. I am hoping that you will post many more, as you seem to really know what you are doing:)

I was just not reaching for my favorite medium - pastels anymore, as they were so messy. I had asked many artists how to fix this problem only to hear -no effective solution. Until I read this-thank you for sharing your easy and practical solution.
Now I will be continuing my love of drawing with pastels!
