How to Draw a Woman's Body

In this video you'll learn how to draw a woman's body.

With practice you'll be able to draw realistic and dynamic human figures in all kinds of poses... and the key is to get some basic proportions right. Watch this video but also copy it - and actually draw the scale in the same way they do.

And don't forget my top tip about basic shapes. Even the most complicated object or the most complicated pose can be made simple if you blur your eyes slightly and imagine the object as a series of basic shapes - rectangles, squares, triangles, ovals and circles.

This really helps with proportions and once you've got that right, it's easy to add soft contours and subtle shapes within the basic shape. Just draw the basic shape with a soft pencil lightly so you can easily erase it later.
