Highland Bay

I used Gouache on canvas. It measures approx 12 inches x 8 inches. It was done from a photograph that had taken when visiting the Torridon area in October. I loved the feel of the place when I was there and this inspired me to try to paint it.

It was my first time using gouache paints, (I had been using Acrylic paints before this one). I started to paint 2 years ago when I was coming up on my half century and am self taught and very critical of myself.

I find that the tips I get from this site have helped me enormously, but still have a long way to go. I hope you like it, and would appreciate any tips you may have.
