Harvesting on the Marais

A safe haven

Acrylic on Canvas on Board 46 x 55cm

I took a photo of this scene in 2006 and decided to paint it in acrylic. It was quite a challenge because of the scale of the landscape.

A few days before finishing my painting, I met some hunters who were chasing a fox, which they didn't catch. So I put the fox in my painting to keep him safe!

Perspective
by: Dorothy , Carluke

Hi Audrey,

I think the perspective on you painting is very good especially the way you have handled the path going downwards. This part of you picture would make a nice painting in itself.
