Harvest Showers

This is a 10x14 watercolor done on 140lb. paper and completed totally with brush and wash techniques.

You can find an idea for a picture most anywhere if you keep your eyes and mind open and your imagination sharp. I got the idea for this painting from a box of shredded wheat cereal while I was enjoying the contents. I added a few items from the reservoir of my mind, and when I thought I was finished, the idea for adding the distant showers came stumbling forth and helped me create the title for this work, Harvest Showers.
