Great Stuff
by: Tom's echo

I've been using Tight'n'Up Canvas Re-tensioner.
Just bought my second 8 ounce bottle pump spray from Jerrysartarama.com My hopelessly loose canvas was saved, even after keys. It is archival and acid free best stuff I've ever found. Made by Masterpiece Artist Canvas (Co.?), San Francisco, CA.
It works!

Damaged Canvas
by: Claude

Sally
It can be repaired but it should go to someone who restores antique or original paintings. There is a process that they go through to get the moisture out and to restore damage to the paint and fabric if any. I don't know anyone off hand who does it. It is different if the painting is varnished as opposed to not varnished.
