I really like your landscape mountain scenes. These are very clear and very crisp. They certainly speak "being there" for those who see them I believe. Penny USA

wow staale! you have done a very nice and neat job of the whole thing especially the mountain. i think it is very difficult to stop putting some feature or the other on something white. you have managed to stop at the right time probably.

Staale, I have seen two of your mountain paintings, and I think they are exquisite. Beautiful flow, contrast, the pictures is full of that light that so few manage to capture in watercolour. But there is one important snag, though: the composition, with the motif smack in the middle. No way for the eye to move, no dynamics. Just a tip, I think your pictures deserve attention to composition, to become really exciting. Good luck, and keep at it!
