Another of my Elvgren-copies, fun to do, more practice. But God, I had to work with the eyes! I couldn't get her to look right and it turned out that I placed the left eye (hers) too high already from the start.
It's painted over so many times, that you wouldn't want to look at it from the backside - it's really spooky! Well, luckily that's not the way it's supposed to be looked at :-)
I had to repaint the background, too. The first time it was all too blue and I toned it down with - yes, black. I know, I know, and it's true, it dies a little, but I couldn't get it right any other way. And it looks quite acceptable in the original, so...
Taking the photo is the really hard part, though. Reflexions and wrong colour values and so on, I don't know how to do that!
