Fascination of the sea

Still trying to work with water colours but failing, so it's back to acrylics.
I found this poster on the web of a photo by Missie Jenkins. I liked the subject - I seem to be drawn to the sea and I'm trying to use more subtle colours.
The waves were challenging and so were the children's clothes.
Back to practising water colours now!
