Fall Barn

This image was created using the pastel/chalk tool in ArtRage 2.5 full edition on a black, smooth, paper setting and four layers.

Image size is 1600 X 2400 pixels and will be printed at 16" X 24".

Old abandoned barns are something that appeal to my sense of local history and, of course, everyone likes fall colors.

The biggest challenge was in recreating the look and color of old, faded, wood.

I'm pleased with the texture, the range of light to dark, the palette, and the nostalgic feel.
