This portrait of "Emily" was done on bristol drawing paper using graphite pencil. The size is 11" X 14". This is a pencil portrait that I did for a friend as a gift. I loved doing this portrait because Emily has such distinct features. The most challenging part of the portrait was the satin dress. To be able to let the viewer know right away what the dress was made from.
