ELEPHANTS ON-LINE

by Angeline Rijkeboer
(Blaricum, the Netherlands)

Just a funny, colourful geometrical painting.

It's acrylic on canvas, the size is 120x40 cm.

I wanted to draw the elephants to fit like a puzzle.

I made a design sketch on squared paper and then made a larger version on the canvas, for the sketch I used a liner.

After blocking in the different colours, I stamped some figures in it with a sponge and the backside of a pen, and also painted some details in it.

The contours were painted bij hand with a small brush number 0, without using a liner.

The little calf is 'on-line' with his mother.

I hope you like it.

Yes, I was inspired by M.C. Escher. On my website you can see more of those paintings.
