Easter Bonnet

by Audrey
(Brittany, France)

Acrylic on canvas. 30cm x 40cm. This is a painting of my granddaughter. She had made her bonnet (with help from mum) for Easter celebrations at her nursery. Her twin was also in the picture but I found her too difficult to paint. I'll have to paint one of her sister before I give them this one.

It was quite difficult to get the angle of the face right.

Thanks to everyone who has commented on my other paintings. It is so encouraging to receive comments and suggestions(which I try and implement)from fellow artists.

Left hand
by: Dorothy, Carluke

Hi Audrey

This is lovely such a sweet little girl and so proud of her bonnet.

Her left hand bothers me a touch it looks a bit like she has six fingers but it is the way the daffodil leaf is placed you could just put more daffodil leaves to cover this part.

Hope your are getting on ok with the other twin.

Regards,

Dorothy

A LITTLE BEAUTY
by: LINDA

THE LITTLE GIRL IS WONDERFUL. SPRING IS IN THE AIR AND THE JOYS OF CHILDHOOD ARE APPARENT. THE FACT THAT THE LITTLE GIRL MADE THE HAT IS A LOVELY TIME CAPTURED PIECE THAT WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED. BE PROUD!
