Corrections To Pastel Work

This is a good way to correct your work in soft pastels.
Brush off the pastel from the area you are not happy with. Make a paper mask to cover the work you do not wish to disturb, spray the brushed out area with fixative and then when dry you can rework your error.
I used this method when working on this Tiger picture, I had seriously smudged the right hand side of the tiger's head.
