Hi. I did a pastel years ago of my daughter but smudged her face. I couldn't bare to part with it. Now I know I can fix it. I'm going to try your method. Thanks!

I have not done any pastel work yet. I am reading all I can first on tips etc. Your tip sound brilliant as I know I shall make lots of mistakes. Maybe I won't waste so much material with this tip. Many many thanks.

Great tip Dorothy. Thanks for sharing that with us. Only ever done one pastels picture - a still life. I was pleasantly surprise how it turned out but I made such a mess!
