Cleaning Brushes

An instructor, whose name I have forgotten, suggested cleaning oil brushes by first putting them into baby oil to emulsify the oil paint and then cleaning the brushes in a 50-50 mix of Murphy's Oil Soap and water. It works for me and I don't think that it does any harm to the brushes or to the oil paint when I use the brushes immediately after cleaning them.
