Chalk Pastels In Water

Chalk pastels are great for producing a soft, delicate look to your picture.

But, if you soak a chalk pastel in a beaker of water for couple of minutes, then dry it off using a paper towel...

When you use it, the colour will be really bright and vivid.

(Don't leave the chalk pastels immersed in water for too long, through - or they'll go all soft and mushy.
