Care of Brushes

When you buy brushes never ever replace those plastic caps they sometimes come with . They will bend the hairs. However when it comes to liner brushes I find a fat milkshake straw tape off one end and separately store my liners this way. They never rub against other brushes and get wrecked.

I have some fine, expensive brushes, and when the subject is really important, that's what I reach for. However. . . A lot of times, the cheapest, rattiest brushes work better than I thought, would have. I hate cleanup and suspend these cheapies in water between color changes, or breaks. Surprising how much abuse they can take.
