Cactus Wren

by Teri Casper
(Tucson, Arizona)

This Cactus Wren is resting or nesting in a Saguaro Cactus hole In Tucson Arizona. I started out with my weekly Cactus Monday and the Cactus Wren just took over the painting.

Check my blog for a diagram of the hole inside.

The wren is awesome, but it took a while for me to 'see' a cactus. I'll check out your blog.

Hi Teri,

This is a beautiful painting.
Especially the thorns on the cactus.

We are planning to make a roundtrip next June, from California to Texas, and Saguaro Park is on our list too, so perheps we can meet the bird.
