"By the Light 1 & 2"

Hi Everyone. Trying to get into something abstract with these two candle holder paintings. They will be framed in black as soon as I have a warm day to paint the frames. They are acrylic on canvas 7" by 20".
I am in love with reds. Is this considered abstract?
I tried to just let myself go and paint what felt right at the time. Thank you for any comments or advice.
