Bamboo in the Mist

This past weekend I did a watercolour workshop. We learned lots of new ideas and had great fun!
This is a painting of bamboo done with Winsor & Newton watercolours on Arches 140#, CP paper. i also added a few details with watercolour pencils. I've never painted bamboo before, but at least you get the idea of what it's supposed to be!

I like how the wet in wet washes diffused the colours.
