Applying Masking Fluid

I think I learned this from "Leisure Painter" magazine. I have always found using a brush to apply masking fluid frustrating if not disasterous to the brush. Now I use small bird feathers that one can usually find quite easily on the ground.

I use the "quill" tip for intricate items, like flowers in a bush, etc. At times I have also used a toothpick but prefer the feather tip end.
