Allsorts
by Lori deBruijn

This pastel painting was done with the help of Dianna Ponting on Wet Canvas. I am not much into still life but my mom likes allsorts, so I thought I would give it a try, now I don't know if I want to give it away!
It is painted on Ampersand Pastelbord, 11x14. I used mostly Pitt Pastel pencils, along with some NuPastels. The most challenging part was mixing the colors for the allsorts and definitely the tablecloth. I am pleased with the way the whole painting turned out.
I may try a 16x20 next time to keep for myself, it is going to look really neat hanging on the wall.
