A Stroll in the Winter

This is a watercolour again by Alwyn Cranshaw. I like his style and had tried to capture it in this painting. I did it on 11X15 Windson and Newton paper and the paints were the same. I would appreciate your comments on this one. Thanks

Hi Mops,

I had used Windsor and Newton paints and red muskoka watercolor brushes for this painting.
Thanks for the comments.

Hi Marilyn:
Nice relaxed, loose painting. You've created the right atmosphere with limited color and strokes.
I've studied the styles of many artists and tried to learn from them by attempting to reproduce their work. It's interesting to find which combination of paints and brushes different artists use. Problem is I am now knee deep in paints and brushes. :o)

You are right. I should try and do my own. I am starting watercolour classes and I'm hoping I'll get some fresh ideas. I'm open to suggestion.
